Mrs. Alecia Rohde
English/Character Education

Alecia Rohde has taught at ASPIRE for five years. She is an amazing English teacher but loves to tutor math. Alecia is proud to be a part of the ASPIRE family and connects with our students in a way that helps them to know they are loved, while at the same time holding them to high expectations.  Mrs. Rohde loves spending time with her family and enjoying the beauty of Lake Tahoe.  

Ms. Karen Pineau
Special Education Teacher

This is Ms. Pineau's first year at ASPIRE Academy High School and she has entrenched herself in our school community so naturally, that it is as if she has been here all along! Ms. Pineau speaks multiple languages, and enjoys hiking, traveling and learning.  She currently serves as a teacher at ASPIRE, as well as at our adult school.

This is Mrs. Webb's second year at AAHS.  She moved to the Carson Valley area  from Bakersfield, CA. Having taught literacy and reading intervention for 3 years in Bakersfield, she has brought her expertise to the DCSD Adult Education School, as well as the literacy position at A.S.P.I.R.E. She loves to blend technology and teaching! Mrs. Webb enjoys being with her husband and 3 kids, as well as, playing  video games, reading, and watching shows on Netflix.

Mrs. Telsche Hipple

This is Telsche Hipple's third year at A.S.P.I.R.E. She is known on campus for her enthusiasm, positive rapport with students and sweet dance moves! She teaches a creative writing class and promotes the importance of service (being a dedicated facilitator). She loves running, hiking and spending time with her family. 

Mr. Stormy Herald

Mr. Herald is in his second year at ASPIRE.  He often says that when it comes to schools there is no place he would rather be.  Mr. Herald is a native to the Carson Valley area who graduated in 2004 from Douglas High School. He went on to graduate from the University of Nevada in 2009 with a degree in Secondary Education/Social Studies. He has also coached football at Douglas High School for 5 years. His favorite activities are reading, running outside and spending time with his wife. 

Mr. Eric Emm
Math Teacher

Mr. Emm is in his first "official" year of teaching at ASPIRE Academy High School, although he subbed for us last year and became a fast favorite of our students. Mr. Emm teaches all levels of Math, from pre-Algebra to Calculus.  He shares his ethusiasm for "making it a great day" with our school family in a way that is contagious.  Mr. Emm enjoys coaching basketball and spending time with his wife and little girl.  

Mr. Nair has taught at ASPIRE for two years.  He graduated from Penn State University in 1983 with a degree in Forest Science. Over the years, he has completed three science degrees. The most recent was a Master's degree in Science Education. Mr. Nair is unique in that he has taught in several states and recently worked overseas in both Latvia and the United Arab Emirates. Mr. Nair is excited to work at a small school where staff and students get to know each other well.  Mr. Nair shares his love of science, music and his wonderful sense of humor with our ASPIRE Family.

Ms. Caralee White
Instructional/Teacher Assistant

Ms. Caralee is full of love and compassion for our students.  She helps our students to achieve and stay in track in regard to thier academic timeline.  Ms. Caralee is also  an amazing chef and she has created a tradition of baking a birthday cake for all of our celebrants to enjoy!  Ms. Caralee loves her animals, friends and family.

Mrs. Katie supports student learning in a way that is patient and encouraging.  She challenges our students to work diligently and be advocates for themselves.  Mrs. Katie has high expecations for our students and they respond accordingly. Mrs. Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog.
